This really is a large pile of flood debris, trust me. One day I may reveal the ridiculous story that surrounds the trip to this site; the loss and rediscovery of my camera; the woman at the Cave Creek, AZ grocery deli counter that adored me; and the anxiety on the part of my AZGS boss / field partner about that woman, her sandwiches, late night alien abductions, and asking for directions.
