The entire trip has now paid off. Holy crap is that an amazing sight.
It will one day bring Seattle-Tacoma to its knees. Holy shit do I miss living in the northwest.
Back in 1980 when this erupted, I still thought the only mountains in America were in Colorado. Such is my Oklahoma upbringing. Note Mt. Adams lurking in the background in the top one.
Not getting much sleep, but getting some nice hikes in on each end of the day.
