Nice day in the Nevada Desert

Only true desert rats can thoroughly enjoy repeatedly driving between
Reno and Las Vegas. It is a ~420 mile drive that takes 7.5 hours. I
have done it too many times to count. It is lonely, and amazingly
scenic. Yesterday was a particularly nice day...cool, clear, and
windless.
