Cannot smile through it all. Was thinking I was pretty tough until I was driving out of the field and saw a bunch of guys laboring in the irrigation ditches around Blythe. Yikes.

One of those ethereally awesome sunsets that can stop time. Owyhee River near Iron Point last month. Ouch. We watched this one while eating dinner in the absolute middle of nowhere.
Seen a lot of these dudes since the May trip from Yuma to Hoover Dam on the Colorado.
