One day someone left a bag of concrete out in the Nevada Desert. Now
it is a rock shaped like a bag of concrete.
Nevada...It is one enigmatic place.
I put 32 miles on my bike in Flagstaff today. It is a great town for
riding...had I brought my mountain bike, I would have been able to try
out a small fraction of the trail network that surrounds and traverses
the town. Pretty amazing array of trails compared, say, to Reno.

Tess left her favorite stuffed animal in my car, which I left on
campus. Thus, went by campus in field truck in early AM, got penguin,
used for scale in photos while in field. Brought him home safely.
Problem solved.
Man, I bet we are going to see a lot of these at field camp next month.
